Nebraska transfer quarterback Dylan Raiola has committed to Oregon, he announced on social media Monday. Raiola, a former five-star recruit, joins the Ducks after starting 23 games over two seasons with the Cornhuskers. Oregon starting quarterback Dante Moore has not declared his decision on entering the NFL draft or staying in school. The Ducks continued to recruit Raiola regardless, raising the possibility that he could serve as Moore's backup and redshirt next season.
Oregon will keep its starting defensive front intact for the 2026 season, as All-Big Ten selections A'Mauri Washington, Matayo Uiagalelei and Teitum Tuioti all are returning to the team. All three players announced their decisions Sunday on social media. Ducks defensive tackle Bear Alexander announced last month that he would return for the 2026 season.
Arizona tightened its hold on the top spot in the AP’s men's college basketball poll Monday while Vanderbilt's unbeaten season landed the Commodores in the top 10. A week ago, Arizona led then-No. 2 Michigan by a single point for the top spot to avoid what would have been only the second-ever tie at No. 1. But with Wisconsin handing the Wolverines their first loss, the Wildcats became the easy choice at the top spot. Iowa State moved up one spot to No. 2, followed by UConn. Michigan fell two spots to No. 4, followed by Purdue, Duke and Houston in their same positions from last week. Gonzaga was ninth.
UConn was the unanimous No. 1 choice for the first time this season. The Huskies continue to cruise through Big East play, winning by an average of nearly 47 points per game. They were the only team in the top 10 to stay in the same place as the week before. South Carolina moved up to second, followed by UCLA and Texas, which dropped two spots after LSU handed the Longhorns their first loss. No. 5 Vanderbilt, one of three unbeaten teams along with UConn and No. 17 Texas Tech, has its highest ranking since the final poll of 2002. LSU jumped six spots to No. 6. Kentucky, Michigan, Louisville and TCU rounded out the top 10.
The Portland Trailblazers are back on the road tonight to face the Golden State Warriors. Tipoff is slated for 8 p.m.
