Motorcyclist Seriously Hurt in Crash with Vehicle on Highway 238 near Murphy
A motorcyclist was seriously injured yesterday when he collided with a vehicle on Williams Highway near Murphy.
The Oregon State Police reports troopers and emergency personnel responded to the two-vehicle crash on Highway 238 at Canaan Street on Monday at 3:50 p.m..
OSP released few details about the incident, but they identified the motorcyclist as 47-year-old Christopher James Saunders. They did not identify the driver of the vehicle that was involved in the crash.
Saunders was transported by ambulance to Three Rivers Medical Center with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Both vehicles were towed away.
The Oregon Department of Transportation temporarily shut down the highway one mile north of Murphy due to the incident.
OSP was investigating the cause of the crash.
