GP Police Arrested Man on Jackson County Felony Warrant near City Park
Grants Pass Police arrested a man on an outside felony warrant after searching for him early today.
The Police Department reports officers located 44-year-old Robert John Schmoke at U-Turn for Christ near Riverside Park at about 5:15 this morning.
Police said Schmoke was wanted on a Jackson County felony warrant charging him with failing to appear in court for Attempt to Elude Police, Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants and Reckless Driving.
According to the report, GPPD was asked to find Schmoke by the Jackson County Sheriff's Office and he was located after a brief investigation.
Schmoke was lodged at the Josephine County Jail where he was being held pending transfer to the Jackson County Jail in Medford.
