22-Year-Old Jailed following Maternal Assault
A 22-year-old man is in the Josephine County Jail following an assault on his mother.
Josephine County Deputies responded Friday afternoon at 4:33 to the report of the son hitting and kicking his mother in the 600 block of Lincoln Road. The mother stated he also tried to steal her vehicle.
The mother stated the son has a history of meth and fentanyl use but stated he is not presently on anything. Deputies had the suspect detained by 4:47 p.m.
The man was arrested and lodged in the county jail facing charges of menacing-aggravated assault and attempt to commit a crime. He remained in custody Saturday morning.
