Man Wanted on Josephine County Warrant Surrenders at GPPD Headquarters

A Josephine County man wanted on a local warrant turned himself in to Grants Pass Police early yesterday.

The Police Department reports a 49-year-old male subject surrendered at GPPD headquarters on NE 7th Street on Thursday shortly after 3 a.m..

Police said the man told officers he wanted to turn himself in on a Josephine County warrant for failing to appear in court for Contempt of Court. No other details were available.

After the warrant was confirmed, the suspect was lodged at the Josephine County Jail on $30,000 bail.
