GP Police Nabbed Motorist for Strange & Dangerous Disturbance at Walmart
Grants Pass Police arrested a motorist for causing a strange disturbance at Walmart yesterday.
According to the Police Department, officers were alerted to a woman speeding through the Walmart parking lot and honking her horn at 11:21 a.m. Thursday.
Police said witnesses reported the 59-year-old woman was speeding, honking her horn and pointing a "finger gun" at people while shouting "bang, bang." They said several shoppers were victimized, and it was unknown why she was involved in the dangerous, strange and annoying behavior. Her actions caused public alarm.
Responding officers halted the motorist, placed her into custody and lodged her in jail for Disorderly Conduct.
