Walk N' Roll: Parade of Superheroes
C U Later's 4th annual "Walk N’ Roll: Parade of Superheroes" event is Saturday, October 11th at Twin Creeks Park in Central Point from 10am – 1pm. Family Registration is $20 pre-sale or $25 on the day. 100% of proceeds go to Asante's Pediatric Infusions. Come dressed as your favorite superhero, enjoy food, win prizes, and help make a difference.
Grants Pass Tap Walk
The Grants Pass/Josephine County Chamber of Commerce presents the 2025 Grants Pass Tap Walk. It will be Saturday October 11th and will feature 20+ downtown business participants. Tickets are $45 pre-sale and $50 the day of the event. This is a 21+ event. Tickets can be purchased online at grantspasschamber.org or at the Chamber, 1995 NW Vine Street in Grants Pass.
Historic Jacksonville Haunted Walking Tour
Historic Jacksonville's 2025 Haunted History Walking Tour is October 10th and 11th. The tours begin at 6pm and last an hour. Guests can choose from two different tours each night. The cost is $10 per person and reservations are required. Go to historicjacksonville.org/haunted-history-tours or call 541-245-3650 to make your reservation.

Monday, October 13th

19th Annual Empty Bowls Event
Options for Southern Oregon is having its 19th annual Empty Bowls event in the Josephine County Fairgrounds pavilion on Monday, October 13th at 6PM. All guests get to choose a handcrafted bowl, fill it with gourmet soup, and take it home as a reminder of hunger in our community. For more information, call Sarah at 541-244-4138.

RVHS Murder Mystery Dinner
Join the Rogue Valley Humane Society for a Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre at Cartwright’s Taprock Northwest Grill on Friday, October 24th, from 5pm – 9pm. Tickets are $80 and can be purchased at the Rogue Valley Humane Society. Space is limited!

Lifelink Harvest Festival
Lifelink Church is having their annual harvest festival on Saturday, October 25th from 3pm to 6pm. Bring the kids to their "Trunk with Treats" food court while also enjoying live music and games. The church is located at 2600 New Hope road in Grants Pass.

Senior Self Defense Classes
The Rogue River Community Center is teaching Senior Self Defense Classes at the Rogue River Annex, 138 Broadway Street, in Rogue River. They are held Saturdays from 11AM until Noon, and Tuesdays from 7:15PM – 8:15PM. The Instructor, Santa JD Barron, is a 4th degree black belt who will teach you how to defend yourself with a walking cane, plus hand-to-hand combat techniques. Call 541-821-7464 for more information.
Southern Oregon Amateur Radio Club
Southern Oregon Amateur Radio Club meets every 3rd Tuesday of the month at the Fruitdale Grange, 1440 Parkdale Dr. Starts at 6:00pm and is open to the public.
Second Friday Poetry Reading
Grants Pass Museum of Art, 229 SW G Street is hosts their Second Friday Poetry Sharing every second Friday of the month from 7pm to 9pm. These events are free to the public and all are welcome to come read or just listen to poetry. Donations are welcome. Fruitdale Grange Monthly Bunco Group
Fruitdale Grange, 1440 Parkdale Drive, is hosting a monthly Bunco group on the 4th Friday of each month at 5:30pm. Please bring a snack to share. Cost is $10 Per Person and all must be 18 years old to attend. For more info text 541-660-4435.

Are you prepared for an emergency? Have you made an emergency supply list? Have you signed up with the Disaster Registry? Do you have your Emergency Go-Kit Passport? We have everything you need to do just that. KAJO and KLDR would like to encourage you to be ready; disaster can strike at any time. We have a Handbook for Homeowners titled "Before Wildfire Strikes." We also have information on "Living on Shaky Ground; How to Survive Earthquakes and Tsunamis." We are open Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm and Saturday 8am to noon, at 888 Rogue River Highway in south Grants Pass.
