Cavemen Break Losing Streak Upending North Salem
The Grants Pass Cavemen broke a four-game losing streak Friday night, upsetting the North Salem Vikings at Mel Ingram Field 29 to 22 before a homecoming crowd. . Freshmen quarterback Jordan Rossetta tossed 2 touchdown passes in the win as GP improved to 1-3 in league and 2-4 overall. The Cavemen are on the road next Friday, traveling to Medford to face South Medford.

The Panthers were shut out last night by Sheldon 27 to 0. Other conference action had North Medford beating Roseburg 30 to 9, West Salem handled Sprague 40 to 13. There was no report of the South Salem-McNary Game.

Locally Mazama outscored Hidden Valley in Murphy 36 6o 19. North Valley defended their home turf beating Sutherlin 41 to 7.

Homecoming Night at Mel Ingram Field with the Cavemen hosting the North Salem Vikings
Its homecoming night at Mel Ingram Field and the Grants Pass Cavemen look to break out of a 4-game losing streak in front of the hometown crowd. Tonight’s opponent is the Vikings from North Salem who enter the game with a 4 and 1 record.

The Caveman game will be broadcast live on KAJO with the pregame airing at 6:30 for the seven o’clock kickoff.

Other conference action tonight includes North Medford at Roseburg, Sheldon at South Medford, Sprague at West Salem and South Salem at McNary.
