National Weather Service Posts Freeze Warning for Many SW Oregon Locations
The National Weather Service has posted a Freeze Warning for tomorrow morning in much of southwest Oregon.
The Freeze Warning runs from 3 a.m. to 9 a.m. Wednesday in Josephine, Jackson and eastern Curry counties including portions of the Rogue, Applegate and Sams valleys.
This includes the cities of Grants Pass, Rogue River, Gold Hill, White City, Eagle Point, Shady Cove, Applegate and Ruch as well as outlying areas of Medford, Jacksonville, Phoenix, Talent and Ashland.
Subfreezing temperatures as low as 31 degrees are expected in these locations.
Frost and freezing conditions could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation. It could also possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing. Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
