GPPD Assisted RADE Detectives by Jailing Man Wanted on State Warrant

The Grants Pass Police Department assisted Rogue Area Drug Enforcement (RADE) when they arrested two people on outstanding warrants in the northeast part of the city last night.

On Thursday at 7:14 p.m., the Police Department reports RADE detectives provided information to officers that a 39-year-old man wanted on a statewide felony warrant was at a home in the 1400-block of NE 10th Street.

Officers swooped in and arrested the man who was wanted on an Oregon State warrant for Parole Violation stemming from a previous robbery conviction. A 47-year-old woman with the man was found to be wanted on a Linn County warrant for failing to appear in court for impaired driving.

The statewide fugitive was lodged at the Josephine County Jail on a no-bail detainer, while his female companion was cited to appear in court and released.
