GP Police Snared Man on Outside Warrants and More at SE City Market

Grants Pass Police arrested a man on two out-of-county warrants this week during a patrol check at a southeast city convenience store.

According to the Police Department, officers spotted a suspicious vehicle behind Kings Market on SE N Street on Wednesday night.

Police said a records check revealed that the vehicle belonged to a 42-year-old man who was wanted on two Douglas County warrants for Felony Criminal Mischief and misdemeanor Driving While Suspended. They located the man in the gambling area of the market.

Officers detained the man and learned that he was also wanted on a warrant issued by the Santiam Correctional Institution in Salem. In addition, he was identified as a fugitive out of Arizona.
