City Council Workshop Features Higher Housing Density on Private Streets

The Grants Pass City Council will consider an opportunity to increase affordable housing during its bi-weekly workshop session today.

The City Council is scheduled to open the workshop with a staff presentation on increasing housing density on private streets followed by discussion. No formal action on the topic is expected today.

City Manager Aaron Cubic will provide an update on the 4th Quarter Work Plan of 2023 before the Council reviews the agenda for Wednesday's regular meeting.

Following the workshop, Mayor Sara Bristol will convene a Special Meeting in Executive Session. The closed-door meeting is being held for labor negotiations.

Today's workshop begins at 11:45 a.m. in the City Council Chambers at Grants Pass City Hall, 101 NW A Street.
