Deputies Snared Woman on Outstanding Warrant after Illinois Valley Traffic Stop

The Josephine County Sheriff's Office arrested a woman on an outstanding warrant yesterday following a traffic stop in the Illinois Valley.

According to the Sheriff's Office, deputies pulled over a vehicle driven by 40-year-old Stacy Schwarz at the Rough & Ready Creek Botanical Wayside off Redwood Highway on Wednesday at about 12:40 p.m..

Deputies said they thought the passenger in the vehicle was a 40-year-old woman they had a probable cause warrant for, but it was not her. The passenger was then identified as 36-year-old Sabrina Wilson.

Further investigation revealed that Wilson was wanted on a Josephine County warrant for failing to appear in court for 2nd-Degree Theft. She was cited to appear in court on March 20th and then released.
