GP Police Incarcerated Young Man for Causing Disturbance at Sobering Center

Grants Pass Police arrested a young man for causing a disturbance at the Sobering Center early yesterday.

According to the Police Department, officers responded to the incident involving 20-year-old Jackson David Sutton at the facility on SW Foundry Street on Friday at about 2:20 a.m..

Police said Sutton walked to the Sobering Center and began kicking the front door, demanding to be arrested. They said he previously had been trespassed from the detox center on January 31st. He was lodged in jail for Criminal Trespass.

A patrol officer reported that Sutton was suspected of letting the air out of his rear passenger tire while he was parked at the facility. A request for surveillance was submitted and an additional charge of 3rd-Degree Criminal Mischief was pending.
