Motorist Survived Crash into Pond off Redwood Highway at Slate Creek Road
A motorist wound up wet but uninjured after crashing a vehicle off Redwood Highway into a pond in the Wonder area yesterday.
Rural Metro Fire Department, American Medical Response and the Oregon State Police were dispatched to the accident on US Highway 199 at Slate Creek Road on Thursday at 2:14 p.m..
For reasons being investigated by OSP, the vehicle landed in a pond after a crash with another vehicle at the intersection. The law enforcement agency did not have any new information on the incident today.
Traffic was temporarily impacted while rescuers processed the crash scene.
The Oregon Department of Transportation provided traffic control.
