GP Police Collared Man Wanted on Jackson County Warrant at Riverside Park
Grants Pass Police apprehended a man wanted on a local warrant this week at Riverside Park.
According to the Police Department, officers arrested 41-year-old Kenneth William Barr at the city park on Tuesday.
Police said officers were on patrol when they observed Barr while he was under the influence of alcohol. Public intoxication is one of several ordinances under strong enforcement in all city parks.
Upon contact with Barr, it was discovered that he was wanted on a Jackson County warrant for failing to appear in court for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.
Kenneth Barr was lodged at the Josephine County Jail.
