Grants Pass FD Hosted Annual Rogue Valley Fire Chiefs Association Luncheon

Grants Pass Fire & Rescue had the honor of hosting the annual Rogue Valley Fire Chiefs Association Luncheon this week.

The luncheon provides chief fire officers from throughout the Rogue Valley the rare chance to come together to network, share best practices, and discuss the challenges and opportunities facing fire departments in the region.

The presidency of the Association was transferred from Rural Metro Fire Department Deputy Chief Austin Prince to Medford Fire Chief Eric Thompson.

Fire District #3 Deputy Chief Justin Bates was recognized for over 25 years of service to the citizens of Jackson and Josephine counties.

The Rogue Valley Fire Chiefs Association is a nonprofit organization that works year-round to ensure every resident and visitor to the Rogue Valley has access to and receives the best emergency services available.

The organization comprised of not only the top fire service leaders, but also the best emergency medical providers, rescue professionals, 9-1-1 communication specialists, county and city emergency managers, and a host of other influential and supportive organizations with a mission to serve you.
