A holiday drive-thru donation event benefiting the Josephine County Food Bank is being held tomorrow at the north branch of Evergreen Federal Bank in Grants Pass. It runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the corner of 6th and Steiger streets.
Food bank officials are asking people to help them serve over 18,000 residents this holiday season by donating any non-perishable food items simply by driving thru the Evergreen Federal Bank branch.
There are many other ways to donate to the Food Bank's Holiday Food Drive. You can drop off food at the warehouse at 3658 Upper River Road Monday-Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.. You can drop food off at any barrel location around town.
You can also donate funds to the Food Bank. Every dollar provides three meals for our community. Checks can be mailed to: Josephine County Food Bank, PO Box 250, Grants Pass, OR 97528. Donate online at "jocofoodbank.org."
The Josephine County Food Bank works through its network of more than 25 partner agencies to feed more than 18,000 people through the community each month. The Food Bank distributes more than two million pounds of food annually.
Dedicated volunteers, a small staff, generous community partners, individual donors and larger programs like the Oregon Food Bank and Feeding America work together to make this possible.
Grants Pass Toyota has graciously sponsored this event and contributed $5,000 toward holiday food purchases.
