GP Police Arrested 2, Cited More and Excluded Others in Park Patrol Checks

Grants Pass Police apprehended two campers who were wanted on outstanding warrants while citing and excluding a few other campers during park patrols on Thursday.

During a patrol check at Fruitdale Park, officers contacted 57-year-old Donnie Wayne Snow, Jr., and discovered that he was wanted on a Josephine County felony warrant for Parole Violation stemming from a conviction for drug possession. He was lodged at the adult jail facility without bail.

During a patrol check at Baker Park, Heather Dixon and Aria Echavarria were both cited for Misuse of Park Open Spaces and they were trespassed from the park for 30 days. A total of 16 campsites were posted for Illegal Camping at the park and an e-mail was sent to the United Community Action Network (UCAN).

During a patrol check at Riverside Park, Glenn Miller was cited for Scattering Rubbish, Andrew Urenda was cited for Misuse of Park Open Spaces and Trevillian Heartfelt was cited for Public Urination. Miller and Urenda were trespassed for 30 days. A total of 10 campsites were posted for Illegal Camping and an e-mail was sent to UCAN.

During a patrol check at Morrison Centennial Park, John Hanson was cited for Misuse of Park Open Spaces and he was given a 30-day exclusion. A total of 18 campsites were posted for Illegal Camping and an e-mail was sent to UCAN.

During another patrol check at Baker Park, officers contacted 35-year-old Ian Seiwell Hogue and discovered that he was wanted on a Grants Pass warrant for failing to appear in court for Resisting Arrest, Escape and Criminal Trespass. He was lodged in jail.
