The Grants Pass Broadcasting Corporation celebrated its 66th anniversary this past summer and in every one of those many years, we have held a special event to raise money for children during the holiday season.
Saturday is "Kids Day" when we hold a special broadcast-a-thon from 8 to 11 a.m. to raise money for the Grants Pass Active Club's "Christmas for Kids" program. The Active Club has once again met the challenge of supporting children and their families in this community.
No "Kids Day" donation is too large or too small. There are number of incredible Kids Day auction items that will go to the highest bidders.
Auction items include a one week stay at the Running Y Resort, an overnight stay at SCOPA in Crescent City, a Los Angeles Chargers helmet signed by star Oregon quarterback Justin Herbert, a signed and framed DK Metcalf football jersey from the Seattle Seahawks, a Boatnik Silver Sponsorship package, a barbecue package including half a pig, a picnic bench and one-quarter cord of firewood.
