RR City Council Meeting Features Two Proposed Ordinances & One Resolution

The Rogue River City Council will focus its attention on new business during its monthly meeting this evening.

The City Council normally holds its regular meeting on the last Thursday of each month, but next Thursday is Thanksgiving.

The Council will open new business by considering two ordinances. The first would rezone a property at 5450 North River Road and the second would establish a building code administration program known as the Rogue River Municipal Code Title 15. If the second is approved, two previous ordinances would be repealed.

Also on the agenda is a resolution adopting amended job descriptions for the City of Rogue River, specifically for the position of Police Chief. There is also an addendum to the Engineer of Record agreement between the city and Engineering Support Services, LLC, regarding insurance coverage and payment reconciliation.

The panel will close the session by reviewing previous minutes from meetings of the Tree City USA Committee and the Council Advisory Committee.

Tonight's meeting begins at 6 p.m. at Rogue River City Hall, 133 Broadway Street.
