County Commissioners approve pass-through funds for public health positions

The Josephine County Commissioners approved an amendment at their Wednesday evening business session that will allow $114,000 in pass-through funds to be allocated toward Siskiyou Community Health Center, Inc. to provide a public health position in the Illinois Valley.

Commission Chair Simon Hare said some of the funds will also be used for a another public health position that will work with Three Rivers School District.

The amendment passed unanimously with yes votes from Hare and Commissioner Don Reedy. Commissioner Harold Haugen was not present at the meeting.
