Harry & David Recalls Possibly Tainted Food
Harry and David, along with a variety of retailers have announced recalls of food possibly tainted by salmonella from Sunland Incorporated peanut butter plant in Portales, New Mexico.
Harry and David is among the retailers that use Sunland ingredients in their own products or in store brand peanut butter.
Harry and David placed its Apple Snack Box plus Wolferman’s Bee Sweet Gift Basket, Hearty Snack Gift Basket, All Day Assortment Gift basket and Father’s Day Basket on the expanded recall.
Most of Harry and David’s peanut butters with best used by dates of March 1, 2011 through September 24, 2013 were placed on recall lists earlier.
