Lorna Byrne evacuated after possible bomb threat
Lorna Byrne Middle School, located at 102 Junction Ave. in Cave Junction, was evacuated at 11:37 a.m. Monday after graffiti discovered on a bathroom wall indicated the school might be threatened by a bomb.
A Josephine County Sheriff’s deputy and administrators searched the grounds for a suspicious package but were unable to locate a possible explosive device.
There are currently no suspects in this case.
Classes at Lorna Byrne were held at their regular times today.
