Grifters utilize ObamaCare legislation to commit fraud
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office reports they have responded to multiple calls this last week regarding grifters who are using the implementation of the Affordable Care Act, commonly known as ObamaCare, to steal identities.
The suspect or suspects have been calling citizens and telling them that due to the implementation of ObamaCare they must sign up for a new medical program. The information the caller asks for can be used for identity theft purposes.
Anyone who receives one of these fraudulent calls should contact their local law enforcement agency.
