City Council likely to revote on water rate increase

The Grants Pass City Council will likely take a revote on the water rate increase at their meeting Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. in Council Chambers at 101 N.W. A Street.

Councilman Richard Michelon, during the Monday Workshop last week, stated that he wanted to withdraw his vote because he felt city staff did not give councilors all the possible options for rates and there were discrepancies provided in information presented before the vote.

Also on the agenda is a resolution authorizing the City Manager to offer a contract to a Property Acquisition Specialist and a motion to allow a survey in the city utility bills.
