City Police Search for Suspected Car-Jacker
The Grants Pass Department of Public Safety is searching for a suspect who staged a carjacking this morning just before 1:00 a.m.
Abraham Morales, 18, reported he was in his vehicle in the area of Northeast Fairview Drive and Beacon when a male approached him with a gun, struck him in the head with it and took the 92 Honda 2 door green Accord, Oregon license number SRB 138. Morales sustained a small laceration to the left side of his head and did not require medical attention.
The suspect, described as possibly wearing gray colored shorts and displaying several tattoos on his arms, fled in the Honda, possibly in the direction of the Grants Pass Parkway.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the detective division at 541-450-6260.
