Anthony Gilbert Rodriguez, 18 years old and listed as a transient, was arrested Wednesday afternoon at 1860 Highland Avenue on an attempted murder charge along with assault 2, felon in possession of a firearm and two failure to appear warrants.
Rodriguez is the alleged shooter whose bullet grazed the neck of Donald Parren on southwest Marion Lane on September 10th.
Wednesday detectives received information Rodriguez was at the Highland address and at 4:30 p.m. blocked traffic on the street as a precaution and also notified officials at both North Middle and Highland Elementary schools.
Officers ordered Rodriguez from the residence and he did so without incident and was lodged in jail.
One additional occupant, Karly Wright, 21, was cited for a felony warrant but lodged on a probation detainer.
