Local Radio Station Owner Passes

Bob Johnson, 64, former owner and operator of four Medford Radio stations died September 17th at a Redding, California Hospital from septic shock.

Johnson at one time owned four stations, including KTMT and KCMX, and his father brought KTVL television to the area decades ago.

Johnson sold the four stations in 1994 and retired.

He was on his yearly trip to Lake Shasta when he fell ill. It is not known how he contracted the infection.
