Feds Raid Ruch Marijuana Garden
Armed Drug Enforcement Administration agents raided the High Hopes farm, operated by 52-year old James Bowman, Tuesday and removed dump truck loads of mature marijuana plants.
DEA agents on scene were tight lipped, saying they were executing a federal drug search warrant, and referred questions to the U.S. Attorney’s office in Portland who confirmed the warrant in the 700 block of Upper Applegate Road and several related locations.
DEA agents raided several Jackson County gardens in October of last year that eventually resulted in six men being charged with growing at least 4,000 pounds of excess marijuana that had allegedly been traced throughout the U.S.
