America's Most Wanted features local murder
America’s Most Wanted is featuring the horrendous murder of 59-year-old Barbara Tooley tonight on Lifetime Channel.
Tooley was shot and beaten to death on her birthday in her mother’s home on Azalea Glen Road in Glendale on Oct. 1, 2009. Tooley’s mother, 88-year-old Helen Long, was seriously injured as well but she managed to survive her injuries.
Long did not recognize the assailant and a motive for the crime has never been established. No items were stolen from the residence.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, with an average height and thin build. The suspect’s vehicle is described as a small black 1990’s or 2000’s SUV or possibly a pickup with a canopy.
The show airs tonight at 6:00 p.m. for DirecTV and Dish Network customers and at 9:00 p.m. on Charter.
