Medford Police have arrested Brett Leon Court, 37, and Melissa Jan Fernandez, 36, both of Medford and charged them with one count each of Robbery in the 2nd degree in connection with the hold up of the Sterling Savings Bank Wednesday afternoon on Stewart Avenue.
Wednesday evening a Medford detective saw a vehicle matching the description of the get away vehicle and conducted a traffic stop on a beige 1991 Hyundai and questioned the male and female occupants about their involvement.
Detectives searched the couple’s residence in the 300 block of Stewart and recovered cash and other evidence.
Both were lodged in the Jackson County Jail with bail set at $1 million.
Court is on parole out of Josephine County for felon in possession of a firearm and DUII.
