Drug Drop Box Now in Public Safety Lobby
The Grants Pass Department of Public Safety, in partnership with the Josephine County Solid Waste Agency, has provided a drug drop box for the convenience of the community.
The drop box is located just inside the Public Safety lobby and can be accessed 24 hours a day seven days a week.
The purpose is to prevent expired or unwanted prescriptions, over the counter medications for family members or pets from entering the domestic water supply.
No intravenous drugs, syringes, needles, illegal substances of medical waste accepted.
