Goff Fire Contained!
Fire crews successfully completed a line around the Goff Fire late Monday making that troublesome fire completely contained. Contained does not mean controlled, but that a fire line is complete around the entire burn.
Crews will continue to aggressively pursue complete suppression.
The Goff fire consumed 22,278 acres of the Fort Complex of Fires total of 23,653.
473 personnel remain attached to the fire supported by 4 helicopters, 8 engines, and 7 water tenders.
