School Board reviews Next Generation Accountability Summary

The Grants Pass School District Seven Board is reviewing the Next Generation Accountability Summary at their Tuesday meeting at 5:00 p.m. in the Administration Building located at 725 N.E. Dean Drive.

The Accountability Summary is a new accountability system developed to identify and rate schools in several different categories. All schools are rated on academic achievement, academic growth and subgroup growth. High schools are also rated on graduation rates and subgroup graduation rates.

Schools are rated on a one to five scale with five being the highest. All schools in District Seven were rated a four except Grants Pass High School, which is rated a two because the participation rate was not met.

The board will also review the Summer Meal Program.
