Subaru Lifted from the Depths of the Rogue River
The 2010 Subaru driven into the Rogue River in a suicide attempt in March of 2011 was finally lifted from the river Tuesday morning by a Sikorsky heavy lift helicopter and dropped into a nearby field to be towed away.

One Woman Jailed; One Hospitalized after Knife Fight
Grants Pass Department of Public Safety officers responded to a disturbance involving 4 to 6 people in the area of Menegazzi Park at 129 northwest “F” Street last night around seven and found 32 year old Leanne Darby, a transient, suffering from multiple knife wounds. She was transported to Three Rivers Community Hospital in serious condition.
