Lorna Byrne evacuated after possible bomb threat

Lorna Byrne Middle School, located at 102 Junction Ave. in Cave Junction, was evacuated at 11:37 a.m. Monday after graffiti discovered on a bathroom wall indicated the school might be threatened by a bomb.

The final suspect in a robbery case that has been investigated and deliberated for the better part of a year pled guilty today in Josephine County Circuit Court to second-degree robbery and unlawful use of a weapon.

Medford P.D. Responds to Armed Woman

A Monday night call to Medford dispatch came from a woman saying she was armed and needs help. The woman, 27-year old Mary Aguilar, was found walking on the sidewalk near West 2nd in Medford carrying a .22 caliber handgun.
