Due to the fast-moving Taylor Creek and Grave Creek #3 fires jumping containment lines this afternoon, mandatory evacuations have been ordered for residents living in both areas.

The Josephine County Sheriff's Office has issued a Level 3 "Go Now" Evacuation Order for residents living in and around West Pickett Creek Road in association with the Taylor Creek Fire.

The Rogue Valley Wildland Task Force has been mobilized and is gathering at Robertson Bridge Boat Landing in an attempt to protect residences and citizens.

The Jackson County Sheriff's Office has issued a Level 3 "Go Now" Evacuation Order for residents living on Grave Creek Road in and around Ditch Creek and a portion of the level 2 evacuation zone has been upgraded to a level three for two addresses on Pleasant Creek Road. This is a remote area in the far northwest corner of Jackson County near the Josephine and Douglas County lines.

Deputies and personnel from both law enforcement agencies have mobilized and are now going door-to-door to notify residents of the mandatory evacuations.

This will be the last notices residents living near the Taylor Creek Fire and Grave Creek #3 Fire will receive. Do not delay leaving to gather any belongings or make efforts to protect your home.

An emergency evacuation shelter has been established at the Grants Pass High School Commons Building.

At this time, these are the only mandatory evacuations from the Garner Complex of wildfires.
