Crash sends motorcycle rider to the hospital
A motorcycle rider is in the hospital after a crash occurred around 3:40 p.m. on Redwood Highway near the intersection of Union Avenue in the eastbound lanes.
The driver of the motorcycle, Paul Scott, was stopped when he was rear-ended by a white Toyota truck driven by Riley Stacey.
Scott received non-life-threatening injuries. The motorcycle’s frame was bent and was towed from scene.
Stacey was cited for careless driving and Scott was cited for driving without a motorcycle rider’s endorsement.
