Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Othon Campos Junior, 42, of Medford, after an anonymous tip indicated the driver in a recent hit and run case lived at a home in the 300 block of West Clark Street.
Campos was arrested shortly after noon today without incident and admitted the crimes.
Campos was the driver of the Chevy pickup that struck three children on the night of August 31st and failed to stop. The investigation revealed the sticker on the back window had been removed and damage to the front end had been repaired.
He is charged with three counts of hit and run-injury, a felony, and one count of driving while suspended. His bail is $33,000.
