One Out of Ten Stores Sold Alcohol to Minor During Decoy Operation
The Medford Police Department and the Oregon Liquor Control Commission conducted a third operation in a series of minor decoy compliance checks to combat the sale of alcoholic beverages to minors on Monday.
Nine of the ten stores, randomly selected, either verified the decoy’s age with the register age verification system or correctly checked the I.D. of the minor.
Those stores in compliance were the Center Drive Walmart, Winco, Sports Park Snack and Shine, Country Store on the Kings Highway, Stewart Market, Thunderbird, Walgreens, Medford West Liquors and H.K. Spirit Gas.
