Wednesday Sheriff’s Office incidents
A stolen white Ford F150 was located abandoned at the intersection of Highland Avenue and Merlin Road.
A 72-year-old man was located suffering from frostbite in the 8800 block of Upper Deer Creek Road. The man was transported to the hospital for treatment.
A man who purchased the old Suzuki shop on Peach Street went into the building and located a transient residing there. The transient threatened the man with an axe but he left the building after police were called.
The transient who was on Peach Street then went to the building owner’s house later in the day on Pleasant Valley Road and menaced the residents with a knife until they told him his belongings had been placed outside the fence of the building on Peach Street. Deputies were not on duty and were unable to respond to the incident.
46-year-old Mark George Miller was jailed on charges of manufacture and possession of meth and possession of marijuana.
