Suicidal man tells his family goodbye before disappearing

Imagine a relative calling you to say one last goodbye and being left wondering what happened? The family of 18-year-old Brandon Edward Perdue is left with that feeling every single day.

Perdue, who was a Medford resident, was last seen at a Dairy Queen in the town at 6:30 p.m. on June 13, 2008. The day before his disappearance he had told his girlfriend he planned on overdosing on pills. After he left the Dairy Queen, he called his parents twice to tell them that he planned on committing suicide and that he wanted to say goodbye. That was the last time anyone heard from him.

Perdue left the Dairy Queen driving his red 1998 two-door Honda Civic with license plate number XVB615. His cellphone last pinged off a tower at 8:00 p.m. off of Highway 140 near Lake of the Woods. Extensive searches of the area uncovered no clues and police believe Perdue and his car are still somewhere out in a remote area of Jackson or Klamath county.

Perdue would now be 22-years-old and is described as a 6 feet tall, 145 pound Caucasian male with brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information about the disappearance of Perdue should call the Medford Police Department by dialing 541-774-2200.
