Medford Police Issue Warnings after Purse Snatching Incidents
Medford Police are warning people to keep a close eye on handbags and wallets containing important cards and documents after two unrelated but similar incidents.
One woman had her purse lifted from her grocery cart as she was loading her purchases into her car. A Ford SUV drove by and the driver grabbed the purse without slowing down and was gone.
In a second incident a woman was taking groceries into her home when a man jumped onto the porch where her purse was and stole her credit card.
He was identified as Bobby Joe McNatt, 43, and caught as he purchasing $1,000 worth of merchandise at Wal-Mart.
