Seven Rogue Community College students recently received Bridge of Dreams Scholarships.

Central Point resident David Brown is an English major who is completing his fourth term at RCC and plans to transfer to Southern Oregon University.

Medford resident Vacilio Cortes majors in construction technology and will attend RCC after being the first in his family to graduate from high school.

Eagle Point's Jordan Glanz plans to attend RCC to obtain her transfer degree. She plans to pursue a career as a nurse practitioner.

Carrie Gragg of Grants Pass plans to transfer to SOU, and plans to become a history teacher.

Amanda Morris is a single mother who also plans to transfer to SOU. She wants to earn a master's degree in psychology.

Central Point residents Pedro Isaac Pollovena Marques and Ashley Jacobson were also honored, as were S.E. Rose Bahr, an RCC graduate who will attend SOU in the fall.

Former RCC student Onita Phillips received a scholarship, as did SOU students Ailin Castrejon, Jennifer Corona, Miguel Delgado, Ashton Kayser, Roberto Rivera and Laura Velazquez-Rangel.
