Two subjects were held at gunpoint by a complainant in the 100 block of Pinewood Way because they were taking down a property’s fence illegally. The suspects fled the scene in a Ford pickup pulling a utility trailer.

Grants Pass Police arrested Donte R. Weece, 35, of 1320 Parkdale Drive Tuesday on six counts of sex offenses.

Mail & I.D. Theft Earns Grants Pass Woman 3 ½ Years
Michelle Renee Lustig, 45, of Grants Pass, was sentenced to 42 months in federal prison by Senior U.S. District Judge Owen M. Panner, after her convictions for conspiracy to commit mail theft, conspiracy to commit bank fraud and aggravated identity theft. As part of her sentence, Lustig received a mandatory consecutive term of two years in prison required by federal statute where a victim’s identification was possessed or used in committing bank fraud. Lustig was also ordered to pay $12,387.06 in restitution to victims of the fraud.
Grants Pass Armed Career Criminal Sentenced to 20 Years
On Monday, District Judge Owen M. Panner sentenced Christopher Darrell Joseph Sage, 49, of Grants Pass, to 20 years in federal prison, after he pleaded guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm and possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute. Sage will be on supervised release for five years after he completes his prison sentence.
