Historic Butte Falls Ranger’s House for Sale
The Forest Service is selling the historic Butte Falls Ranger’s House. Built in 1939 by the Civilian Conservation Corps, the house and detached garage exemplify the “Cascadian/rustic” style of architecture used for Forest Service administrative buildings during the era. The house has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Ashland Burglars Captured in Central Point
A search warrant was served in the 400 block of Table Rock Road in Central Point at 1:00 p.m. Friday and yielded evidence linking Richard Aguiar and Miranda Ramirez to the Ashland burglaries earlier this week where a stolen BMW was used to ram the entrances to two businesses where cash registers and computers were stolen.
