Commissioners vote to allow BLM to remove burned timber on county roads
The Josephine County Commissioners during their Wednesday business session at 5:30 p.m. in the Anne Basker Auditorium are set to vote on a permit that will allow the Bureau of Land Management to transport burned timber from the Brimstone, Stratton and Dad’s Creek fires on county-owned roads.

Family Safe after Neighbor Discovers Fire
An early morning fire was extinguished quickly by the Grants Pass Department of Public safety at 1100 Fruitdale Drive, apartment D16. The quick response and an alert neighbor resulted in minimal damage and no injuries.
