Search Continues for Shady Cove Man
The Jackson County Sherriff’s Office is reaching out to the public for assistance in finding a Shady Cove resident who’s been missing since July 13th.

According to Sherriff’s Office officials, the search for 57-year-old Dwain Hodge continues and an updated description of the man has been released. A composite artist has added to the original photo, which shows Hodge with a longer, salt and pepper colored beard.

He is described as standing 5-feet 9-inches tall and weighing 180 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes. Hodge was last seen wearing a white Budweiser shirt, red Budweiser baseball cap and dirty, mid-length shorts. He was last seen at a residence near Trail in the 27-thousand block of Highway 62 at about 3:00 in the morning on Sunday, the 13th.

Authorities are concerned for Hodge’s well-being because of high temperatures since his disappearance and his reported impairments from a stroke. He is known to wander along Highway 62. Anyone with information regarding Hodge’s whereabouts is urged to contact the non-emergency dispatch line at 541-776-7206.
