A Double Header Sweep for Nuggets Baseball to Open the Season!
The Grants Pass Nuggets took 2 wins on opening night last night!
Jack Matthew started game one and threw 4 1/3 great innings only giving up 3 hits while striking out 4. Jedidiah Robertson closed the door going 2 2/3 innings and allowed no runs! Dane Kissel, and Alijah Zauher both drove in a run. Wylie Mendes and Erick Pezqueda each drove in 2 runs and Cole Carnes drove in 3!
Game two saw Bayden Morris toss 4 scoreless innings while striking out 4. Cam Holland and Grady McQuillan each drove in a run. Jack Matthew drove in 2 runs, Wylei Mendes and Cole Carnes each drove in 3 a piece! The Nuggets go on the road next in the Pleasant Valley Tournament to face the Chico Nuts on June 12th
